Where is the Forest Office located?
The Forest Office is in Vihti, less than an hour's drive from Helsinki. The address is Pääksniementie 50.

Is it possible to order transport from you?
We do not offer any transport service. Our visitors arrange car rides to the place themselves.
If necessary, you can take a bus to the church village of Vihti, where you can pre-order a taxi. The journey to the destination is approx. 10 minutes.
Do we work in the forest?
The Forest Office log house is in the edge of the forest. You can choose whether you work inside or outside.
Does the Forest Office have an indoor toilet?
Yes. Visitors can use two indoor toilets and, if necessary, a sauna and a bathroom with showers.
How many people can you accommodate?
We have limited the group size to 10 people so that everyone has good space to work.
For daytime use, it is possible to be flexible about this, but for fire safety reasons we can accommodate max 10 people.

How do you take care of the allergies?
In order to serve food, we ask you to inform us in advance of any restrictions and especially allergies, so that we can offer everyone safe food.
The premises are occasionally inhabited by the host's dogs. Please note this if you are seriously allergic to dogs.
Do you speak only Finnish?
We are more than happy to welcome people from all over the world. In addition to Finnish, communication works fine in English and in Swedish.
