WHAT KIND OF INFORMATION DO WE PROCESS AND WHERE DO WE GET THE INFORMATION?

We process the following personal data necessary for our business and consumer customers and partners: name, address, phone number and email address. In addition, the following personal data is processed in relation to the accommodation business: social security number or, if it is not available, date of birth, citizenship and, if necessary, the number of a travel document (passport or identity card).

 

If necessary, customer feedback data can also be added to the register data, or with the express consent of the data subject, photo and video material.

 

We mainly get the information from the customers themselves or, in the case of potential customers, we collect information from publicly available sources.

We collect information about visitors to our website using cookies. Cookies are small files that your device receives and sends when you visit our website.  A cookie usually contains an anonymous identification number and does not harm your device (for example, computer, smartphone or tablet computer). FOR WHAT PURPOSES DO WE USE INFORMATION AND WHAT IS THE LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING?

We process the personal data of our consumer customers, contact persons of our business customers and our partners in order to fulfill the order, to keep in touch with our customers and to bill for our services, and to fulfill our other obligations related to our products and services.

The information is also used for the marketing of our services and the development of our business operations. We process the data of our potential customers in order to market our services. In this case, the basis for processing personal data is our legitimate interest to implement marketing.

 

HOW LONG DO WE KEEP INFORMATION?

We process the personal data of our consumer customers, contact persons of our business customers and our partners for the duration of the contractual relationship and ten (10) years after its termination to the extent that it is necessary to fulfill the contractual relationship and our contractual obligations as well as our statutory obligations.

 

For the time being, we process the personal data of potential customers until he/she becomes our customer, and otherwise for two (2) years, unless the person requests that their data be deleted before that.

 

DO WE TRANSFER AND PROVIDE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION TO A THIRD PARTY?

Your personal data may be disclosed to our partners for necessary functions, such as data storage.

 

DO WE TRANSFER YOUR PERSONAL DATA OUTSIDE THE EU AND THE EEA AREA?

When providing services, we may use resources and servers located in different parts of the world. We may therefore transfer your personal data outside the country of use of the services and possibly also to countries outside the EU and the EEA, which have different data protection legislation.

 

If the processing of your personal data requires their transfer outside the EU/EEA area, we will ensure that the transfer takes place in the manner required by data protection legislation, for example using the standard contract clauses of the EU Commission.

HOW DO WE TAKE CARE OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA?

Personal data is processed in digital form and, if necessary, in paper form. Digital data is stored technically protected. Information on paper is stored in a locked storage area, where only designated persons have access. Only those persons who need the information to perform their work tasks have access to personal data.

 

ACCORDING TO DATA PROTECTION LAW, YOU HAVE THE RIGHT

  • to receive information about the processing of your personal data

  • get access to your own data and check what data we process

  • request correction or completion of your information if necessary

  • refuse direct marketing based on register data

  • withdraw your consent and object to the processing of your personal data to the extent that the processing of your personal data is based on your consent

  • request and have your data removed from the register

  • if you wish, we will deliver your personal data to you or another data controller as a csv file, provided that you have delivered them to us yourself

  • demand the restriction of the processing of your personal data

You can exercise these rights by submitting your request to us by email: tero.pajunen@hyvinvointikyla.fi. We ensure the correctness of the request and implement the action you requested, except if we have a legal obligation that prevents the implementation of the request.

 

If you withdraw your consent, it does not affect the legality of the processing of your personal data carried out before the withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent by email: tero.pajunen@hyvinvointikyla.fi.

 

You also always have the right to report To the Finnish Data Protection Commissioner, or to the supervisory authority of the European Union member state where you live or work, if you believe that we have not processed your personal data in accordance with applicable data protection legislation.

 

WHICH COUNTRY'S LAW APPLIES TO THE PROCESSING OF YOUR DATA?

Finnish legislation and EU legislation directly applicable in Finland, such as the EU's General Data Protection Regulation, apply to the data controller's personal registers and the processing of the personal data contained therein.

 

HOW CAN WE UPDATE THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT?

We are constantly developing our business and that may also mean changes related to the processing of personal data. If necessary, we will update this privacy statement to reflect our changed operating methods. Changes can also be based on changes in legislation. We recommend that you familiarize yourself with the content of this privacy statement regularly.

 

If we start to process your personal data for a purpose other than the one for which your personal data was collected, we will inform you of the matter and the updated data protection statement before that further processing.
